About This Event
UMBC Theatre presents the serpent under’t , an experimental dance theatre adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth , conceived and directed by Nigel Semaj . Blending movement, dance, and spoken text, this reimagining draws inspiration from horror and the macabre of Edgar Allen Poe. Join us as we explore the shadows of the human psyche where ambition, guilt, and fate intertwine with the supernatural. Performances Thursday, October 29, 7:30 p.m. — Opening Night Reception Friday, October 30, 7:30 p.m. — Free performance for UMBC students Saturday, October 31, 2 p.m. Friday, November 6, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 7:30 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2 p.m. — Actor Talkback, Free performance for UMBC students , Prospective Student Day Ticket information is forthcoming.
