The Baltimore Bibliophiles Present: Library Ghosts

Program registration is recommended but not required. Through history, libraries have been destroyed--by fire, flood, war and neglect. Yet if the physical building or even part of the collection is gone, the library, as fragments or concept, often carries on in some form. These library 'ghosts' often have surprising afterlives which speak to the resilience of these institutions, the love of their users, and the importance libraries in our society. We invite you to join the Baltimore Bibliophiles as we journey through history to meet some library ghosts.
