Tavern Talks: London Town and the Maryland Constitution

Join us for the fifth of a five-part lecture series at the William Brown House that reimagines the tavern as it was in 1776: a space for community news and gossip. Enjoy after-hours access to the brick tavern alongside a sample of tea or colonial-style hot chocolate and peruse 250-year-old headlines before learning about some local history: the ratification of the first Maryland Constitution on November 11, 1776 and how this historic document impacted London Town.
