Oseh Shalom 5787 Inaugural Rising Song Shabbat

Join us at Oseh Shalom for a special Shabbat evening in the flow of a traditional experience of prayer, food, and heart- and soul-ful \(wordless\) singing! In the spirit of the Rising Song Circles, created by well-known musician/singer Joey Weisenberg, we are bringing post-dinner spirited communal singing of nigunim \(wordless melodies\) to Oseh Shalom. Discover how relaxing into our voices and music, and playing with collective harmony, can help you sink more deeply into the joy of Shabbat. Thanks to a generous grant from Hadar \(Hadar.org\), this 5787 inaugural Rising Song Shabbat includes a free, artisanal vegetarian meal from Cielo Rojo \(https://www.cielo-rojo.com/\) in Takoma Park for the first 40 registrants. The registration deadline is 10am on Friday, October 23rd, or whenever the 40 spaces have been filled. If all the spaces are already accounted for, you can pay for your own meal through the registration link below if you order by 10/23 at 10 am, or you can bring your own vegetarian dinner if you prefer. \(Subsidies are available to those in need. See the link below\). 6:30 pm/Hybrid: Ma’ariv Shabbat \(includes Kabbalat Shabbat\) 7:15 pm/In Person: Catered meal for inaugural Rising Song Shabbat! 8:15 pm: Rising Song Shabbat Nigun Circle
