Make Care Packages

When was the last time you did something small that made a big difference for someone else? Join Destinee Pate of Pillars of Growth for a free care package and card-making session, an afternoon of giving back, creativity, and community. Together, we’ll assemble care packages and write handwritten cards for people experiencing homelessness in Baltimore, a simple way to remind someone that they’re seen and cared for. We’ll provide supplies for the packages and cards, but if you’d like to contribute, feel free to bring any toiletries, non perishables, blankets or anything else you feel the unhoused would need as winter approaches and any card-making materials you love: stickers, markers, stamps, washi tape. No crafting skills needed, and every contribution counts. Come as you are. Come to give back, stay for the conversation, and leave knowing you’ve helped make someone’s day a little brighter. Free and open to everyone!
