League of Women Voters of Anne Arundel County Speaker Series

Join the LWV of Anne Arundel County for a Speaker Series and non-partisan discussion--Beyond Election Day: Who Participates--and Who Decides? What this election cycle can teach us about turnout, voter choice, and election reform. Guest Speaker, Julia Nickles Bryan is a former structured finance professional now focused on strengthening democracy through voter participation and election reform. She serves on the boards of the League of Women Voters of Maryland, the LWVMD Action Fund, the Institute for Islamic, Christian and Jewish Studies, and the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress. She also hosts All Votes Count Maryland, a website that promotes election systems designed to make representation more inclusive and encourage consensus-building across party lines.
