Jenn M. Jackson Presents “the Narrative of Sojourner Truth” in conversation w/Alanah Nichole Davis

Jenn M. Jackson (author of Black Women Taught Us ) joins Baltimore’s own Alanah Nichole Davis for a look back at the life and legacy of Sojourner Truth, in celebration of the new edition of Truth’s autobiography, The Narrative of Sojourner Truth , published this August. Sojourner Truth was an incredible, remarkable, epoch-defying woman who escaped from slavery and successfully sued for her son’s freedom, in addition to her career as a wildly successful orator and activist—a woman alive to the hypocrisies of her age, and unafraid to talk about them.
