Giant 1822-pound Pumpkin and Children's Straw Maze

The display of a giant pumpkin at Valley View Farms has become a cherished Maryland fall tradition. This year, a pumpkin weighing one thousand eight hundred and twenty-two pounds, named Action Jackson, is on display at Valley View Farms now through Halloween, Saturday, October 31st. With unique coloring that looks like early morning leaves painted on its surface, Action Jackson appears to be a truly magical pumpkin. There are thousands of other pumpkins and every other fall decoration imaginable, with colorful mums, hardy pansies, unique gourds, decorative corn, corn fodder, and more. Bring the kids and the camera, check out Action Jackson, and let the kids enjoy the free Children’s Straw Maze. Fall is a great time to plant, and Valley View Farms has perennials, trees, shrubs, spring-flowering bulbs, and grass seed. Plus, the fantastic Christmas Shop is beginning to come together. At Valley View Farms. On York Road, in Cockeysville/Hunt Valley. Open daily from 8AM to 7PM.
