Georgetown Canal Day

Georgetown Heritage is once again celebrating our beloved C&O Canal with a free day of festivities in the Mule Yard and onboard the canal boat. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Canal Day programming will include: Live bluegrass music at the Mule Yard from local band Hollertown Meet & greet and photo opportunity with Lucy the Donkey and Kismet the Mule The first-ever mini canal boat regatta – a STEM craft activity featuring a rain gutter “canal” Puppet show, kids dance party, and story time with Councilmember Brooke Pinto aboard the canal boat Lawn games and more!
