Drawn to Music

Join the Library for a Unique Artistic Experience! Drawn to Music is a unique fusion of sound and sight—an immersive experience where live music and visual art come together in real time. As musical performers play an evocative repertoire, artists surround the musicians, sketching the performers in the moment. Audience members are invited to observe the creative process from both sides—hearing the music unfold while witnessing its visual interpretation take shape before their eyes. Part concert, part live art session, Drawn to Music celebrates the spontaneous dialogue between music and visual expression. Featuring the Mount Vernon 2026/27 Mars Music House Fellows All skill levels welcome. Sketching materials provided. * Attendees are welcome to bring their own sketching materials.
