CELEBRATION is an evening of powerful performances that honors and uplifts cultural storytelling. Held in February in recognition of Black History Month, this dynamic event features local professional dance companies, student ensembles from Baltimore County Public Schools, and performances from local Baltimore-area dance studios. Hosted in partnership with the Baltimore Black Dance Collective, the showcase reflects the richness and diversity of the African Diaspora through movement, music, and community. It is a vibrant gathering that bridges generations and celebrates the legacy and future. Featuring original dance performances by artists, companies, studios, students and schools in our local community, the showcase highlights select dance works in an eclectic range of styles from ballet to hip hop to liturgical and more.
