American Visionary Art Museum’s Pet Parade: Mutt Gala

The American Visionary Art Museum (AVAM) is delighted to announce that the beloved Pet Parade & Animal Talent Show returns to the museum’s Whirligig Plaza on Saturday, September 26 from 10 AM–12 PM —this time with a fashionable twist! AVAM’s Pet Parade: Mutt Gala welcomes all well-behaved animals and their human companions to dress up in their finest celebrity-chic outfits to not only strut around the museum’s campus, but pose for photo-ops , create a “walk of fame”-style Pet Star craft , and demonstrate their unique talents for a chance to win one of many sought-after prizes : Celebrity Look Alike Award Most Glamorous Pet Award Best Visionary Hair-Do Pet and Owner, Like Peanut Butter and Jelly Award Least Likely to Succeed as a Pet Wackiest Trick Award Best Dressed Most Visionary Pet Registration begins at 9:45 AM, followed by the parade around AVAM’s campus kicking off at 10 AM. The talent show will begin promptly after that. This event is held each year in loving memory of supreme animal lover and dear friend, Ellis Rosen.
